Here are the 10 foods that will improve your memory, just don't forget about them eating them. You may notice that many of the foods on this list are red or purple in color. So why are the colors of the phytochemical, anthocyanin that are good for the brain.

Blueberries: Blueberries have been shown in several studies that have wonderful benefits for the memory and the brain. Old mice that were fed with blueberries, scored the same points that young mice in tests of memory. Blueberries contain anthocyanins, a phytochemical and great for memory. They also contain many other phytochemicals that may contribute to healthy brain function.
Apples: Apples contain high levels of quercetin, an antioxidant that has been shown in recent studies to protect against Alzheimer's disease. Although it is also present in the flesh, the more quercetin is found in the skin. Apples also contain anthocyanin in their skins.
Spinach: a study found that mice that were fed with spinach, had a low or Quassia anything about memory loss. This may be due to the amount of folic acid, a nutrient believed to be protective against Alzheimer's disease and related memory loss with age. Only a half cup of cooked spinach provides two-thirds of its daily need of folic acid
Onions: red onions contain anthocyanin and quercetin. Yellow and white onions also contain high levels of quercetin. In India, where onions are an important food, onions have been used as a folk remedy to increase the memory for centuries.

Broccoli: Broccoli contains quercetin. It is also a good source of folic acid
Beets: beets are a good source of anthocyanins and folic acid.

Red grapes, purple, black: all the grapes contain quercetin and anthocyanin. The red wine also contains good levels of these phytochemicals, but abusing in red wine may not have the benefits, so keeping the consumption of one cup a day so you can reap the benefits.

Eggplant: Eggplant is a great source of anthocyanins. It also contains nasunin, an antioxidant that protects the lipids in the membranes of brain cells
Rosemary: researchers have found that the carnósico acid in Rosemary's neuro-protective and may play a role in preventing Alzheimer's disease and other neurodegenerative brain diseases. One study even found that just the smell of Rosemary has improved the memories of office workers.
